Jo Bo Ah is known as someone with a lot of natural “aegyo,” her bubbly personality reflecting in her off-screen interactions with people. The actress recalled that she had a habit of casually showing affection to her colleagues even in text messages, and even sent heart emojis to her male co-star once, without thinking much of it.

He was my co-star, but I said ‘Okay. See you that day ❤️.’ I use hearts all the time, so I didn’t think anything of it. But he misunderstood me.

Shin Dong Youp showed sympathy for Jo Bo Ah, noting that “people who are naturally full of aegyo have it regardless of whether they’re around men or women.”

The actress, however, stated that her professional boundaries didn’t sanction such considerations.

At some point while working in this field, I started to feel that acting cute toward the opposite sex doesn’t look so good. I gradually began to drift apart from my male colleagues.

Park Byung Eun jokingly teased the actress, saying, “ I misunderstood too. I mean, she just goes, ‘Thank you, sunbae-nim. Love you!’ and walks off!” As the room broke into a chuckle, Shin added, “And now that you’re married, people are like, ‘Wait, what?'”

Meanwhile, Jo Bo Ah got married in October 2024. The actress recently paired up with actor Lee Jae Wook and made her small-screen comeback with Dear Hongrang, while her other project, Knock Off, faces an uncertain future.
