Actress Lee Seo Yi (also known by her birth name Song Soo Yeon) has passed away at 43.
On July 1, KST, the news of her passing was shared through her official social media account by her manager. The message mentioned that Lee had passed away on June 20. The exact cause of her death has not been disclosed to the public.

Lee Seo Yi became an actress in 2013 with the MBC historical drama, Hur Jun, The Original Story. Some more of her notable projects include movies like The King and Killing Romance, and the SBS drama Cheongdam-dong Scandal.
Apart from being a beloved actress, Lee was also a brilliant academic. She graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, where she majored in Czech and Slovak studies. She also pursued higher education at Pusan National University.
Fans are inevitably in great shock and sorrow given the talented actress’s passing.
