Japanese actress Tomoko Takahashi has passed away in a car accident. One Production announced through its official website that Takahashi died in a traffic accident at the age of 39. The agency stated that it took place in early morning.
“Tomoko Takahashi suddenly passed away in a car accident in the early morning of October 16. We are still in disbelief and deeply saddened by this loss. As one of our founding members, Takahashi worked diligently and was known for her strong sense of responsibility and warm personality, loved by everyone. We are truly grateful for the contributions she made. We sincerely thank all the fans and colleagues who supported and cared for her during her lifetime.”
Her funeral will be held privately, attended only by close family members according to the wishes of her relatives. Born in 1986, Tomoko Takahashi was active mainly in theater and also appeared in television dramas such as TV Asahi’s Emergency Interrogation Room and TV Tokyo’s The Last Doctor.
