ADOR Files Lawsuit Against NJZ’s (NewJeans) Danielle
ADOR has notified NJZ (NewJeans) member Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract and is now moving forward with legal action.
On December 29, ADOR told SPOTV News that they were about to file a lawsuit against Danielle.
“We plan to file a lawsuit today seeking penalty fees and damages against Danielle.”
Earlier that same day, ADOR effectively announced Danielle’s removal from the group. The company stated that it had notified Danielle of her exclusive contract termination.
“We plan to hold legally accountable one member of Danielle’s family and former CEO Min Hee Jin, who bear significant responsibility for causing this dispute, Danielle’s departure from NewJeans, and the delay in her return.”
After winning the lawsuit confirming the validity of the exclusive contracts of the five members, ADOR had been in discussions with the members about rejoining the agency. Haerin and Hyein were the first to announce their return through ADOR, while Minji, Hanni, and Danielle unilaterally declared their return through their legal representatives. It was announced on December 29 that Hanni has agreed to return while Minji is still in discussion.
