Aespa’s Stylist Comes Under Fire For Giselle’s “Spicy” Showcase Outfit
Aespa held their showcase for their latest comeback, “Spicy,” on May 8, 2023.

Aespa’s stylists have come under fire for Giselle‘s underwhelming outfit for the group’s showcase.
For their showcase, aespa posed in pink and white outfits that gave the group a cohesive look.
But fans are pointing out that Giselle’s outfit seems significantly lacking compared to the others.
Although fans don’t think the outfit is inherently bad, fans are upset because of how simple the outfit is, especially for a showcase. Some believe the look makes it seem like Giselle is going to the beach or participating in Mnet‘s Produce 48 rather than performing at a comeback showcase.

Fans were furious at the “lack of care” that seemed to go into Giselle’s “simple” styling.

Fans are pointing out that in other instances, “when the stylist takes time styling her,” Giselle literally “glows.”

And some fans were also frustrated with Karina, Winter, and NingNing‘s styling as well, as they believed the looks were nothing new or exciting. Arguing that the outfits don’t flatter the idols’ visuals as well as they could.
Everything is the same except for Karina’s hair color. I’m tired of their image. Both the unattractive dresses and the hair styles that never change (especially Giselle). Isn’t their stylist working? Or SM doesn’t have a budget anymore because it’s all down with Naevis?
