Aespa Fans Discover Yet Another Instance SM Entertainment Excluded Giselle And Are Demanding Better Treatment
Fans of talented girl group aespa have been continually calling out SM Entertainment and other brands that aespa has partnered with, trying to demand fair treatment for all four members. Giselle especially seems to be the member most often excluded from advertisements, and the idol has even been blurred or cropped out of photos from different media outlets.
Recently, fans voiced their frustration with SM Entertainment taking over a week to make Giselle’s Spotify playlist public, despite the other members’ playlists have been readily accessible.

Fans were also worried after Giselle made a comment that many fans interpreted as suggesting that her playlist wouldn’t have been uploaded if she had not asked for it.

Fans also called out luxury brand Chopard for giving Giselle unfair screen time in a 30-second teaser that only featured the four members of aespa.

Given their immense frustration with Giselle’s unfair treatment since aespa’s debut, fans have been trending hashtags like #GiselleDeservesBetter.
While documenting all the unfair treatment, fans noticed another instance where SM Entertainment excluded Giselle. Aespa had a comeback with Girls in July, and fans loved the song and connection to the intriguing lore of the SMCU (SM Culture Universe).
But now fans are realizing that while all of the members looked fierce in their teaser photos…
SM Entertainment excluded Giselle’s solo teaser from their Instagram Girls highlight. Although Giselle does make multiple appearances in the story highlight, unlike Winter, NingNing, and Karina, her solo teaser images are not included.

Although fans have just now noticed this unfair treatment, they don’t believe it was accidental since SM Entertainment has had a lot of time to fix the mistake but hasn’t. Especially since this isn’t the first time she has been excluded from content.
