BABYMONSTER’s Performance At “2025 MAMAs” Met With Polarizing Response
On November 29, KST, BABYMONSTER members Pharita, Rora, and Ahyeon performed at the 2025 MAMAs for the second night in a row.
In contrast to their first night’s performance, when all the active members performed the group’s own releases, the second night witnessed a special stage delivered by the trio, where they performed “Golden,” the smash hit original soundtrack of KPop Demon Hunters.
The performance was highly anticipated ever since it was announced. Even the clips of the members rehearsing the song a day before the ceremony racked up a huge number of views across social media.

This anticipation, however, briefly turned into apprehension when it was reported that all BABYMONSTER members were confirmed to leave Hong Kong on November 28. But in the end, the members came through a delivered a truly special live performance of “Golden” on the MAMAs stage.

The performance quickly became a hot topic on social media, with the focus especially being on the song’s high noted, which were all sung by Ahyeon. The reaction so far has been polarizing, with netizens either straight out mocking Ahyeon’s vocals or loving them.
