The founder and chairperson of HYBE (former Bighit Entertainment), Bang Si Hyuk‘s latest Instagram update is definitely set to cause some serious envy!
Bang PD recently shared a picture of a signed guitar that he received from none other than Nile Rodgers. The instrument came with a personalized message—”To chairman Bang! ‘The Hitman’ from the ‘Hitmaker’.”

For those who might be unfamiliar with Nile Rodgers, he is a revered name in the American music industry. The musician, producer, and composer is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a three-time Grammy Award–winner, and the chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame! He is also the co-founder of the group Chic, who directly influenced multiple classics such as Ugarhill Gang‘s “Rapper’s Delight”, Queen‘s “Another One Bites The Dust,” and Daft Punk‘s “Around The World.”
Bang PD is one of the most noted businessperson in South Korea but he is also known for being a passionate musician. Even while running a company that manages BTS, he kept building his legacy as a producer, working on a large chunk of the group’s discography. He even stepped down from the CEO position of the company to focus more on music. So, as someone this passionate, it is understandable why he geeked out so hard at an incredible present that he got from Nile Rodgers himself.
