Everyone has been coping with the news, and some in different ways. Naturally, many ARMYs were heartbroken to separate from J-Hope already.

Jin even reacted to the news via Weverse, and he had jokes, helping to comfort ARMYs.

J-Hope himself took to Weverse Live to reassure ARMYs about his enlistment. He revealed that he had been thinking of enlisting since Jin left, and the eldest BTS member called him once the announcement was released, so J-Hope got advice from his hyung.

I think I’ve been thinking about this since last year. After Jin-hyung went in, I wondered when I should do it too. When thinking about it, I decided that the sooner I go in, the sooner I can return and show you something good.

Now, one of J-Hope’s close friends has revealed how they’re coping with the news of his enlistment: Becky G.

Since J-Hope and the Latina soloist collaborated on the record-breaking homage to Bianca Bonnie‘s “Chicken Noodle Soup” in 2019, they’ve become great friends.

We were one of the first to do Korean, Spanish, and English. It’s really badass.

Whenever they’ve seen each other at award shows, they’ve been eager to catch up…

J-Hope even included her when he made history at 2022 Lollapalooza. The iconic duo reunited for an incredible performance of “Chicken Noodle Soup.”

Previously, it was announced that Becky G would perform at 2023 Coachella. Just as J-Hope included her in his performance, she wanted to do the same.

Of course, now that might change. When the news broke that J-Hope would soon enlist, some tweeted, “check on becky,” knowing what good friends they are.

Becky G responded to one of the tweets, expressing her appreciation to fans for their concern. She revealed that she and J-Hope actually spoke. Like us, she was sad, especially because she had hoped he’d join her at 2023 Coachella, but she’s wishing him the best always.

They are truly friendship goals! Read more about them below.
