Beloved Female Idol Bags Lead Role In Nigerian Movie
A former girl group member-turned-actress is making headlines for her upcoming international movie project.
Former MOMOLAND member Nancy has been confirmed as the lead actress of an upcoming South Korean-Nigerian co-production movie. The news was announced by Big Ocean E&M, which revealed the tentative title of the movie as K-Pop Afrobeats Film Project.

This movie is the first-ever movie collaboration between South Korea and Nigeria and is expected to expand the reach of K-Content in the African market. Nancy will be joined by Canadian-Nigerian actor Uto Rosman and South African model Sydney Seethal, who is also the sister of popstar Tyla.

Director Myung Hyun Woo, best-known for the K-Drama Check In Hanyang, will be helming the project. He previously received recognition for the Vietnam-Korea co-produced drama, Forever Young.
Given that Big Ocean E&M is producing the movie (known for producing The Fiery Priest 2 and Flex X Cop) along with Nigeria’s leading production company, Nemsia Studios, this movie is expected to be an extravagant production blending the culture of K-Pop and Afrobeats.
Meanwhile, Nancy made her debut as an actress last year in yet another global movie project.
