Beloved Male Celebrity Suffers Third-Degree Burns In Thailand, Returns Home In Wheelchair
A beloved Korean singer recently shared his harrowing experience while he was on a trip to Thailand.
The singer in question is Tei, best known for his soulful ballads.

During a recent web show appearance with fellow ballad singers Lee Ki Chan and Na Yoon Kwon, Tei talked about his recent activities and shared some memorable moments. When the topic of travel came up, Na Yoon Kwon revealed that his first overseas trip was to Thailand, where he went with Tei.

He jokingly mentioned that when the two went on the trip together, many news articles were written, speculating that they were on a honeymoon. “He even entered the country in a wheelchair, and I was the one pushing it,” he recalled, sending everyone into a laughing fit.

Na then explained why Tei had to return to Korea in a wheelchair. He recalled them on a yacht early in the afternoon, when the sun is at its most unforgiving. “In Thailand, it’s so hot between noon and 2 p.m. that even locals don’t really go outside,” Na elaborated, adding, “But since we were on a yacht with the sea breeze, we didn’t realize how hot it was.” Both Na and Tei made the mistake of taking off their shirts on the yacht to tan. However, Tei fell asleep in that state and ended up suffering second-to-third-degree burns all over his body.

Meanwhile, Tei debuted in 2004 with “Love Leaves Its Scent” and became a beloved representative ballad singer with songs such as “Like It” and “Letter.” Recently, he has expanded his activities into variety shows, musicals, and even the restaurant business, showcasing his multifaceted talents.
