However, more than their wins, netizens have shown keen interest in a small interaction involving the two on the award night.
Shortly after the GDA took place, the internet was flooded with clips of Jennie’s powerful live performance at the event. Many fans noticed that G-Dragon had “liked” a fancam video of the performance posted by the official Instagram account of the event. However, the “like” was swiftly removed afterwards.
This small media interaction has sparked a huge interest due to the past rumors surrounding the two. In 2021, Dispatch had reported that the two were romantically involved, and though neither side ever confirmed it, the rumors have persisted. While some fans believe that there was no further meaning behind G-Dragon’s “like” on the video, given that he frequently likes posts related to other K-Pop artists, others feel that it was an indication of their easygoing current dynamic regardless of their past.
