BIGBANG's T.O.P Returns To Instagram For The First Time Since His Military Service Ended

BIGBANG’s T.O.P made his official return to Instagram following his military discharge and dedicated his first post to all of his fans.

Even though I am not proud of myself, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the fans who made time and efforts to share this moment with me. In his first post, he addressed his fans worldwide in English, thanking all of them who went to see him at his military discharge and promising to show off a better side of himself in the future.

T.O.P also prepared handwritten note cards for fans who came to see him, saying how sorry but thankful he is to all of them.

T.O.P was spotted by fans crying due to how touched he was at the number of fans who went to see him, and a sort of mini fan meeting after his discharge. He enlisted in the military on February 7, 2017 and was originally scheduled to be discharged on November 8, 2018. Due to various incidents, his military service was postponed for 8 months, causing his discharge date to be pushed back.
