BLACKPINK To Release Environmentally-Friendly Merchandise For Fans

BLACKPINK will be releasing a special series of merchandise for fans in accordance with their 5th anniversary. The collection will be launched via Weverse shop on August 6, 2021. What’s special is that a portion of the goods in the collection will be made of environmentally friendly products!

The products will be made using green materials as far as possible. The collection will include items such as sofas, tote bags, pouches, diary planners, t-shirts, phone cases, stickers, and more. There will be a total of 44 goods up for sale. The sofa, in particular, drew attention as it is the first time a K-Pop group is releasing a sofa as fan merchandise. The sofa will be decorated with drawings from BLACKPINK as well as motifs of their pets. It is made of TPU material, and can be used both in and outdoors as it is portable.

The adorable tote bags are made of environmentally-friendly cloth and are cute to boot.

YG Entertainment announced that the members wanted to reflect the girls’ intentions into the products and hence they decided to use environmentally-friendly materials. The items were designed to be used practically as well. Make sure to check out the collection!
