BLACKPINK Jisoo’s Sister Negates The Idol’s Previous Story, Claims Allegations To Be Untrue
BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s older sister has finally clarified the “concussion incident” that the idol had previously talked about.
On December 12, Jisoo’s sister, Kim Ji Yoon, appeared as a guest on Jun Hyun Moo’s YouTube channel, Seller-brity. In her conversation with the host, Kim confidently stated that she never felt burdened by the tag of “Jisoo’s sister.” “That’s right. I’m her sister…You can talk about (her),” she declared with a laid-back tone.
Jun Hyun Moo eventually brought up the concussion incident that Jisoo had previously mentioned. The BLACKPINK member had sparked a buzz after revealing during a live broadcast that she nearly got a concussion as a child because of her sister. Kim Ji Yoon took this opportunity to clear the air, explaining her side of the story.
“When Jisoo was really young, remember those four-wheeled roller skates? She was riding them, and there was this steep slope. She was too scared to go down it. But she told me she wanted to go down,” she recalled, adding, “So I pushed her, and she fell. She asked me to push her, so I did,” drawing laughter. The shock of falling was apparently too heavy for a young Jisoo. So much so that she suddenly couldn’t speak.
Kim recalled being panicked herself, seeing her younger sister in such a state. So, to remedy the situation, she bought her “Godeureum” ice cream, her childhood favorite. After having some of it, thankfully, Jisoo started speaking again.
Kim Ji Yoon then complained, “She made it sound like I did something terrible, as if I pushed her to the point of getting a concussion. That’s not what that was about,” showcasing a typical sibling bickering that drew further laughter from the room.
