K-Pop idols allow fans to learn about them through videos, photos, and messages. But just when you think you probably know all there is to know about BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, she surprises with an interesting new tidbit about herself!
The “Pink Venom” singer recently sat down for an interview with Marie Claire Korea where she talked about the place she wants to visit the most and how she’s now a huge fan of exercising.
She was also asked to share one TMI (“Too Much Information”) that fans have never heard of before, and she was happy to oblige! Prefacing her answer by saying that some may already know about it, she revealed that she now takes a lower-body bath 5 to 6 days of the week.
They may know about it, but I suddenly came up with this idea. I take a lower-body bath 5-6 days a week.
“So, it’s sheer TMI,” she added.
Also known as a half bath, this Korean-approved trend involves filling up a bathtub halfway with very hot water and adding essential oils or sea salt if desired. Afterwards, the person submerges themselves in the water, making sure that it only reaches their belly button and that their hands do not touch. They then stay inside for at least 45 minutes, which is quite some time so a good book or movie is essential!
Jisoo may be a huge fan of lower-body baths because it relaxes the body. Reportedly, it increases blood circulation, which helps to release muscle tension, aid detoxification, and calm the nervous system. The lengthy time spent in the water also does great things for calming the mind!
