Blockberry Creative Submits Petition To Ban Chuu’s Entertainment Activities

They will see the end of this.

Recently, media outlet Star News reported that Blockberry Creative submitted a petition to the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Korea Entertainment Producers Association to ban Chuu from entertainment activities.

In particular, Blockberry officially raised the issue of Chuu’s tampering through the submission of a complaint through the Compensation and Punishment Committee of the Korea Federation of Trade Association. Blockberry judged that Chuu had already tampered with BY4M in order to sign a new contract around 2021, and filed a complaint with the Compensation and Punishment Committee of the Federation of Entrepreneurs’ Association, claiming that it was a “violation of the management contract.”

Afterward, they requested Chuu to appear at the hearing, but she only attended last week. She belatedly stated that she would attend the punishment committee, causing the hearing date to be pushed to a later date.

The Korea Entertainment Management Association official confirmed the reports to media outlet YTN, “It is true that a petition against Chuu was submitted and the punishment process in progress accordingly.” However, regarding Chuu’s notice of attendance at the punishment committee, they added, “It is difficult to confirm the details as the matter is still in progress.”

Along with this, Star News also reported that Blockberry plans to submit a petition to the Federation of Entrepreneurs’ Association on the same day to ban entertainment activities for Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsol, and Choerry. Previously, Blockberry Creative announced that Chuu had been kicked out of the group. They also postponed LOONA’s comeback in January indefinitely, announcing that “comeback activities are meaningless in a state where various concerns about the members’ situation have not been resolved.”
