BTOB’s Minhyuk Confirms Army Discharge Date
Melodies, grab your lightsticks – BTOB‘s Minhyuk is set to be discharged from the army real soon! Previously it was announced that he had enlisted on the 7th of February 2019, much to the chagrin of many fans.
On the 9th of September, Cube Entertainment announced to media outlets that Minhyuk was currently already on leave from the army. He is now utilizing his end-of-year leave days and is already out and about, although he has yet to “officially discharge”.
He will be released from his army duties officially on the 12th of September 2020. Due to the coronavirus crisis, many soldiers are given the option to pull forward their leave days to discharge early, and they do not need to return to base to process the release. Instead, they can continue as they are as civilians.
Minhyuk will be the 3rd BTOB member to have successfully completed their national service. Cube Entertainment requests for many to send love and interest to him following his discharge from the army.
Previously, members Seo Eunkwang and Lee Changseob had already completed their service, while Jung Ilhoon and Yook Sungjae recently enlisted. Im Hyunsik is halfway through while Peniel does not need to enlist, being of U.S citizenship.
