BTOB rocks the charts at #1 on 8 online music sites with “It’s Okay”
BTOB has now taken over the music charts with their comeback title track “It’s Okay.”
Earlier today at midnight KST, BTOB released their first ever full-length album Complete, along with the music video for “It’s Okay.” Although many other groups would want to go for dance tracks to be released during the hot Summer, BTOB has chosen to take a risk and promote a ballad as their comeback title track.
At 4:30am KST, the song reached number one on 8 out of 10 Korean streaming sites: Melon, Mnet, Olleh, Genie, Naver, Bugs, Soribada, and Daum, where it debuted at #1 upon release on the first five sites. This is the first time a song by BTOB has reached #1 on music charts and the group recently celebrated their third year since debut back in March of this year. “It’s Okay” also placed fourth on the Instiz iChart, meeting strong competitors SISTAR, AOA, Baek A Yeon, MAMAMOO, and BIGBANG.
Cube Entertainment labelmates BEAST’s Doojoon, 4Minute‘s Jiyoon and Sohyun, and Roh Ji Hoon have shown their support through their SNS accounts.
