BTS Welcomes Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, J Balvin, And More To The HYBE Family

They’re one big family now.

BTS is extending a warm welcome to Ariana GrandeJustin Bieber, and J Balvin on behalf of their members and HYBE.

Recently, a merger between HYBE’s American branch, HYBE America, and Scooter Braun‘s investment company Ithaca Holdings was announced. Rather than merging directly with HYBE America, Ithaca Holdings is expected to become a subsidiary of HYBE America, similar to how Source Music and Pledis Entertainment became subsidiaries of HYBE in Korea.

Ithaca Holdings’ subsidiary SB Projects, a talent agency, is home to a number of big-name stars, including Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, and J Balvin. In a new HYBE Labels video titled “HYBE x Ithaca Holdings”, BTS welcomes these artists and more to HYBE.

Such great news that leaves us all in awe! Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, J Balvin! The team behind these and so many incredible artists have come together with HYBE. We’re so happy to see so many artists that we cherish and love become part of this family. It feels like the world is getting more connected and even smaller.

Suga looks forward to seeing the “endless possibilities” that the merger will bring.

We’re seeing things we never could have imagined turn into reality, like this incredible news. And it makes us think there are no boundaries or limits to the work that we’re doing. We can’t wait to see the endless possibilities that await us.

— Suga

J-Hope is hoping that this “new adventure” will bring joy to fans everywhere.

I hope we can grow and share positive influence with all the artists that have become part of our new family. And most of all, we hope this new adventure will give fans a fresh experience and be a source of new joy. We once again welcome the artists of Ithaca Holdings. Thank you.

— J-Hope
