BTS’s J-Hope Makes Huge Donation To Help Korea’s Flood Victims From Seoul’s Torrential Downpours

BTS‘s J-Hope shows his empathetic heart with another big donation. This time, he’s helping victims of Seoul’s recent historic downpour, resulting in flooding of the city’s southern districts.

The storm has killed seven people, and six people are missing. According to reports, damages to the city have been extensive as subway stations, stores, and up to 3000 cars were submerged underwater.

J-Hope is one of many celebrities doing what he can to help out. According to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, J-Hope donated 100 million KRW (approximately $75,326 USD) on August 18 to help fix the damage caused by the heavy rain.

With this donation, J-Hope joined the “Hope Bridge Honors Club” as a major donor. Throughout the years, J-Hope has made extensive donations for a variety of causes including disabled children. He has now donated over 900 million KRW (approximately $677,992 USD) in total.
