BTS’s Jimin Shocks ARMYs With Multiple Piercings In New “FACE” Concept Photoshoot

BTS‘s Jimin is shocking ARMYs with his new look for his debut solo album FACE.

FACE will release on March 24, and until then, he is teasing us with concept photos, teasers, and more. Jimin just dropped some photos from his first concept shoot: “Hardware.”

The second the photo above dropped on Weverse, J-Hope was in the comment section. Like us, he was at a loss for words.

Recently, ARMYs have said Jimin looks 10 years younger with his current hairstyle. Yet, the concept photo next to photos from BTS’s earliest concepts proves just how much he has matured.

And as more and more concept photos were released, ARMYs were straight-up

. Jimin truly proved just how grown up he is with a sexy concept.

The second “Hardware” concept photo is a headshot of Jimin, and he noticeably has some additional piercings. He appears to have a vertical labret piercing, eyebrow piercings, and maybe even dermal piercings (also known as micro dermal piercings or single-point piercings).

In the final set of concept photos, Jimin might look like he has piercings, but based on the various angles, it is actually not. Again, someone might easily mistake it for something else, though. It’s not thorns, but probably prickles of a rose’s epidermis/stem. Plant’s prickles help protect it from predators but also grow as it hooks into other plants.

With several unique looks in just the first set of concept photos, ARMYs are in shock. We weren’t prepared.

The piercings especially have us in a chokehold. And we’re all imagining how iconic it would be for the maknae line to get together for a photoshoot styled with piercings. V doesn’t have one (other than earrings), but he has worn a fake lip ring before. On the other hand, Jungkook‘s piercings are all real.

Likewise, this isn’t the first time Jimin has rocked a lip ring. He wore a fake one during BTS’s 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO.  

The additional piercings suit him so well. He’s always been one to wear lots of jewelry, especially earrings, but seeing him wear a fake lip ring not once but twice now really shows how good he looks with it!

Some ARMYs wish that he’d go ahead and do it for real!
