BTS’s Jin Couldn’t Resist Imitating RM’s Habit During His 2021 AMAs Acceptance Speech
BTS totally owned the 2021 American Music Awards!
BTS performed “My Universe” with Coldplay and closed out the show with a performance of “Butter.” They also won 3 awards, Favorite Pop Song for “Butter,” Favorite Pop Duo/Group, and Artist of the Year.
Since they won so many awards and performed twice, ARMYs had plenty of chances to see BTS being themselves on the award show’s stage. One of the most hilarious interactions between the members occurred when RM was giving an acceptance speech for their Favorite Pop Song Award.
RM’s speech was heartfelt, and he thanked ARMYs by saying, “Thanks to y’all, “Butter has received so much love this year.” As he spoke, RM rubbed his hands together over and over.
Jin apparently noticed RM’s habit.
After looking at RM’s hands, Jin started rubbing his hands together, too!
ARMYs picked up on Jin’s imitation of RM and talked about the funny moment on Twitter.

RM’s hand-rubbing habit made another appearance during his acceptance speech for the Favorite Pop Duo/Group award, but Jin didn’t imitate him this time!
