The term “sasaeng fan” refers to those individuals who obsess over celebrities to the point of stalking them and invading their privacy. Such fans are categorically disliked by artists and general fanbases alike due to their potential to cause serious harm to artists.

While BTS members, like any other idol, have had to endure encounters with such stalkers, it wasn’t until recent months that they publicly started calling them out. Jungkook, in particular, has repeatedly been vocal about the issue. During a Weverse live before, the idol politely requested fans not to follow him to private schedules or wait for him at places like his gym or his house.

He also had to post a warning on Weverse after someone ordered him food at his address.

Please don’t send delivery food to my house
I’m not going to eat it anyway.
I’m thankful for the thought, but I can eat well on my own.
So take care of your own meals, I beg you.
If you send it one more time, I will check the receipt order number and take action.
So stop it.

— BTS’s Jungkook

On December 8, he once again put sasaeng fans on blast while hosting a candid live broadcast. Jungkook turned on the stream while he was walking outside on the streets.

When ARMYs asked where he was headed, he said he was on his way back home after a workout.

He followed it up by saying that nowadays, sasaeng fans wait for him near his house and proceeded to reprimand them for doing so.

Even nowadays there are sasaengs in front of my house. Stop coming, you bas**rds, ssh– tsk.

— Jungkook

While this is not the first time Jungkook has called out such fans, ARMYs are enraged that he has to put up with stalkers even at his house.
