BTS's Jungkook Sets The Record Straight About His Reason To Join BIGHIT MUSIC

Ahead of BTS‘s much-awaited comeback with ARIRANG, the seven members recently sat down for a fun interview with GQ Magazine.

The interview, published on March 6, KST, entailed the seven members answering candid fan questions and sharing fun anecdotes related to their time together.

During the interview, the BTS members checked out their own Wikipedia page, which said that Jungkook decided to join BIGHIT MUSIC (then BigHit Entertainment) as a trainee after seeing RM perform.

Jungkook immediately responded, “That’s correct,” then offered a small correction. The BTS maknae confessed, “It wasn’t a performance, but I joined after seeing RM.”

RM pointed out, “Apparently, he made up his mind after seeing my thighs,” and Jungkook made no attempt to deny it. Jin promptly joked, “Oh, right, Jungkook really liked RM’s thighs.” In the end, the members concluded that the information on Wikipedia was partially true.

Though the story is known to most older fans, Jungkook’s insistence on getting the facts right has left ARMYs in stitches.
