BTS’s “Map Of The Soul: Persona” Tops US’s 2019 List Of Physical Albums Sales

Nielsen Music’s “Mid-Year Report” for 2019 reveals BTS’s US rankings.

BTS has officially dominated physical album sales in the US!

 

On June 27, Nielsen Music released their “Mid-Year Report” for 2019, which records data from January 4 to June 20. BTS’s Map of the Soul: Persona dropped in April, but in just over 2 months it sold 312,000 units and took the No.1 spot on the list of “Top 10 Physical Albums” in the US.

 

Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins ranked at No.2 on this list with 308,000 units, followed by Backstreet BoysDna (273,000), Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born OST (233,000) and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody (194,000).

 

BTS also placed high on several other Mid-Year Report charts. They took the No.3 spot on the “Top 5 Genre Artists in Pop” list after Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish, and No.4 on the list of “Top 10 Album (Total Sales) list.

 

With stats like these, the whole world’s waiting to see what heights BTS’s next album will reach!
