V suggested that the group compete on who can become the biggest when the group returns in 2025. And then RM said, “It’s 100% going to be Jungkook.”

While Jin has always been known for his broad shoulders, in recent years, RM and Jungkook have become increasingly buff from their enjoyment of working out. Yet, they have competition. V started working out before enlistment, and he’s preparing to get even bigger.
RM explained that he heard men often have physical transformations while serving in the military. For instance, thin men gain muscle while larger men lose weight.
So, the members revealed they hope to get bigger, gaining muscle. While V is currently 62 kilograms (137 pounds), he hopes to reach 86 kilograms (190 pounds). RM and Jungkook are both 70 kilograms (154 pounds), but Jungkook’s goal is 98 kilograms (216 pounds).

RM: I heard that skinnier men grow muscle and bigger men shed pounds [in the military].
V: Actually, I’m- You see, I’m on the slimmer side right now.
RM: Yeah, how much do you weigh?
V: Right now, 62 kilograms.
RM: Oh, so slim.
V: I slimmed down to 62. But I’d like to go back up to 86.
Jungkook: 86…?!
RM: No, guys. Don’t worry. I’ll talk him out of it.
Jimin added that while he will continue to work out, he doesn’t aspire to the other members’ goals of getting bigger or competing.
