Netizens Claim Reporter Who Asked BTS Inappropriate Question Is Affiliated With YG Entertainment
During BTS‘s press conference for Map of the Seoul: Persona, a reporter asked an inappropriate question about BTS’s “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and came under fire for it as a result.
Netizens and fans criticized the reporter for asking what BTS thought about allegations that the concept for “Blood, Sweat & Tears” was plagiarized from a French photographer’s work at a press conference that was devoted to their new album.
The name of the reporter who asked the question was Yoon Sang Geun from Star News.
Netizens later uncovered an article written by a reporter of the same name on YG Life, a website that provides updates on YG Entertainment news.
They further discovered an article written by the same person back in March that goes into the plagiarism controversy between BTS and the French photographer indepth.
While it is unclear how the reporter is related to YG Entertainment or if he is even related at all, netizens continue to criticize him for the question he asked at the recent press conference.
