On November 10, KST, Han made a post on Instagram, informing her followers that her account had been hacked. She mentioned that on the same morning, a live broadcast related to cryptocurrency was streamed through her channel, clarifying that she or her team was not behind the content.

The broadcast that aired in the early morning hours was unrelated to me or those of the channel’s production team…I sincerely hope that no one was harmed by that broadcast.

Han had learned about the livestream at 8 am after receiving calls from her team and friends.

In the early morning of November 10, her channel held a live broadcast titled “Ripple (XRP): CEO’s Growth Prediction,” and it featured content claiming to predict the cryptocurrency market outlook and Ripple’s future strategies. The comment section was disabled during the stream.

Subsequently, Han’s channel, with over 890,000 subscribers, was removed by YouTube. Before deletion, a message appeared on her channel stating, “The channel was deleted for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”

Han Hye Jin expressed her devastation over this incident, stating:

This channel was created with love and care, with each piece of content personally planned and produced, so I am incredibly upset and devastated. Once again, I sincerely apologize to all my subscribers and users for causing concern and inconvenience. I will do my best to ensure the channel is restored quickly.

— Han Hye Jin

She also mentioned that her team had officially filed an appeal with YouTube, along with taking every additional measure to restore the channel as quickly as possible, and was awaiting a response.

Han Hye Jin is not the only celebrity affected by such scams. Actress Kim Sung Eun and ex-gymnast Son Yeon Jae also had their YouTube channels removed due to similar hacking incidents. Fortunately, both of their channels were restored eventually.
