A teenage girl’s dreams are clear, pure, and full of passion. What kind of future does Choo Sa Rang, the bright-eyed teen, dream of? Wearing Dynafit, she looks more confident than ever—one step closer to the boundary where dreams of becoming a model begin to take shape.
Just like the Aurora Down Jacket she’s wearing, with its subtle glossy texture, soft hues, and semi-cropped silhouette that’s perfect for any moment.

Unfortunately, the photos have since drawn criticism from netizens who believe Choo Sa Rang does not have what it takes to become a model.

Amid some defending the 14-year-old from the unfiltered hate online, most called out the “nepotism” at play behind her landing this deal and shared scathing reviews of her posing.

  • “I had no idea Sa Rang turned 14 already. She has good features, like her face, height, and charisma. She just needs to work on her facial expressions. She’s only 14, she has so much room to grow. She was born with the right proportions, so I can’t wait to see what an incredible model she’ll be in 5 to 10 years.”
  • “She’s got charm, and I hope she gains more experience little by little.”
  • “She does have that face and body of a model.”
  • “A born-to-be model.”
  • “She has the perfect proportions to model… I just hope she really works on her posing. Really excited to see how she blossoms!”
  • “I mean, she has the body for modeling. Posing will come with time.”
  • “Her proportions are amazing.”
  • “She does have a great face and body for modeling. She should have practiced posing a bit more, though.”
  • “She kind of looks like actress Lee Som. She could definitely try acting, if she wanted to.”
  • “This just proves to me that connections are the most important thing because look at her modeling skills.”
  • “She takes after her mom, so she has the right physique to become a model. From what I know, she’s taking modeling lessons… I’m sure she’ll become more polished as she reaches adulthood.”

  • “Just another nepo baby… I feel terrible for actual models.”
  • “I don’t see anything special, TBH… Other than being tall, she doesn’t have what it takes. But she’s riding her parents’ fame. I guess she does have the kind of face that Western audiences go nuts for.”
  • “At 14 years old, her proportions are incredible.”
  • “She’s already built like a model… Her face is charming, too.”
  • “Sa Rang is only 14 years old. But look at her proportions!”
  • “She was blessed with that insane physique. Sure, she might look awkward now, but that’s going to get better with practice. I think she’s going to make it big. Hwaiting, Sa Rang!”
  • “People who don’t think this is nepotism are wild. She’s the definition of nepo baby. She got lucky with the physique, that’s all.”
  • “She’s photogenic, I guess. But I think she needs to work on her facial expressions.”
  • “A lot of nepo babies do tell themselves that they worked their way up all on their own, LMAO.”
  • “I mean, compared to other nepo babies who don’t even come with the right physique to be modeling, I think Sa Rang is acceptable.”
  • “She has zero talent. Even in these photos, she’s making the same face in every photo.”

Previously, in an episode of KBS2’s Boss in the Mirror, Choo Sa Rang’s father, Choo Sung Hoon (also known by his Japanese name Yoshihiro Akiyama), revealed that Choo Sa Rang was taking modeling classes.
