The arena was filled with emotion.

Chungha was one of the most anticipated acts performing at MIK Festival in Paris yesterday, and she certainly delivered. Chungha recently expressed her frustrations with MNH Entertainmentdeciding to part ways with them when her contract expires in March. This meant that her performance at the festival was her last under MNH. Fans were excited to see the end of this era — as they also had discontent with her company — and the start of a new one.

This wasn’t the first time Chungha performed at MIK Festival — she was invited last summer and entertained the crowd with an astounding performance at the festival’s event in London.

Her setlist in Paris was full of hit songs that got the crowd going, such as “Roller Coaster,” “Gotta Go,” “Sparkling,” and “Snapping.”

The former I.O.I star also performed two new songs, “Don’t Believe in Love” and “Love Without You,” and shared that they will be part of her upcoming album. Fans were even more excited to know that despite the company issues, she will continue to release music very soon.

Besides entertaining the crowd with her amazing vocals and fantastic dancing, Chungha also made many fans’ dreams come true when she stopped to sign a few albums, making the crowd go wild.

The sweet interactions with fans didn’t stop here, though — soon after, the crowd started singing “Happy Birthday” to her and holding up banners. Chungha was confused for a minute, as she didn’t realize the fans were singing to her!

As soon as she caught on, the idol started tearing up and thanked the crowd over and over again for making it one of the “happiest birthdays.” Enamored by her adorable reaction, the fans burst into “awws” and even louder cheers.

After expressing her thanks, Chungha shared that this was the first time in the seven years since her debut that her mom saw her perform on a stage. This made the moment even more special, and the arena was filled with chants of Chungha’s name — evoking another adorable reaction from the singer.

All in all, Chungha delivered an incredible performance at MIK Festival in Paris, and with her talk of a new album, we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come!
