Dakota Johnson And Coldplay’s Chris Martin Are Just As Obsessed With “Squid Game” As The Rest Of Us

Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, best known for the Fifty Shades trilogy, and British rock band Coldplay‘s frontman Chris Martin are the IT couple right now.

Despite being two of the hottest stars, they have the same interests and hobbies as the rest of us. For one thing, we know Martin is also an ARMY.

Recently, his band collaborated with BTS for their collaboration single “My Universe,” which is said to be inspired by Johnson. Still, he’s one of the biggest fans there is!

So, it’s no surprise that he and his partner would also be obsessed with not just some of our favorite artists but also TV shows. Their latest binge-watch is Netflix‘s Korean thriller series Squid Game.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson raved about the K-Drama. She explained that the show’s juxtaposition of genres really hooked her.

It’s confusingly f–ked up because it’s joyful at moments and then it’s horrifying. And that’s a really interesting combo.

During the interview, she also talked about her desire to watch Marvel StudiosEternals, which has been in the headlines recently due to its featuring of BTS’s Jimin and V‘s song “Friends.” Johnson praised the director, a known BTS fan as well, Chloé Zhao is a genius.”

Belive it or not, Johnson has her own connection to BTS. On November 2 (EST), the fashion brand Gucci held a fashion show in Hollywood. Among the guests were Dakota Johnson and fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow (also Chris Martin’s ex-wife). At the LINE FRIENDS store, the two posed in front of BT21‘s TATA (V) and RJ (Jin).
