DAY6’s Young K Surprised Wonpil At His First Solo Concert After Saying He Couldn’t Come
DAY6‘s Wonpil has been performing his first solo concerts. Recently, he performed both in-person and via live broadcast. He expressed a desire to meet with MyDays (DAY6 fandom) before his enlistment in the navy on March 28.
Currently, Sungjin is serving in The Republic of Korea Armed Forces, Young K is serving in Korean Augmentation To the United States Army, Dowoon serves in the military band, and Wonpil will serve in the Republic of Korea Navy.
Of course, Wonpil wished that his members could attend his first solo concert. Still, it is difficult due to the schedule, and Young K told him that he would be unable to attend.
Yet, when Wonpil performed his first concert on March 11, there was a familiar face in the audience. It was none other than Young K! He showed up, after all, to surprise Wonpil, moving him to tears.
I didn’t know… I really didn’t know. How were you able to come? Hyung, you can’t speak either? He can’t speak either. (laughs) Wow, he came! How did you come? How were you able to come?

Although Young K couldn’t speak from afar, he scribbled out “Vacation” with his fingers. Wonpil didn’t understand at first and said, “I can’t read it! It’s okay; I’ll contact you later.” Thankfully, a fan translated for him. Still, Wonpil wished that Young K was by his side as well.
Oh, what? Oh, vacation. Of course, he’s able to come because he’s on vacation. I didn’t think he’d be able to make it. So you lied to me? (Young K nods) Woooooow! Really… He told me he couldn’t make it. But still… Just come back and do this with me (perform). I really…being alone…

We can only imagine how touched Wonpil was to see his fellow DAY6 member there to support him after taking vacation leave.
Young K lied to Wonpil that he couldn't attend his concert to surprise him. Wonpil asked how was he able to come and Young K wrote out 'vacation' because they aren't allowed to speak/shout. He also motioned that Wonpil danced well.

Wonpil successfully performed shows for MyDays and held his first solo concert, Pilmography, at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, for three days from March 11 to 13.
Additional performances have been planned, and Wonpil will hold another solo concert for Pilmography one day before his mandatory enlistment. Reserved tickets have already sold out.
