Disney+ Reveals More About BTS Suga’s Upcoming Documentary, And ARMYs Aren’t Ready
After BTS‘s Jin, J-Hope, RM, and Jimin, Suga is the latest member to begin solo promotions after announcing a world tour and new album.
BTS’s Suga has had an impressively busy few months as the group members have shifted to focus on individual activities.
In December, Suga launched a new web series, Suchwita, where he candidly chats with celebrity guests about life, art, and music as they drink alcohol.
Suga started the new year strong when he was announced as Valentino‘s latest global ambassador in January.
Recently, he announced he would again be collaborating with superstar soloist IU after their first successful collaborative track, “Eight,” released in 2020. The two are set to drop a pre-release track, “People Pt.2,” ahead of Suga’s new album.
On Valentine’s Day, Suga announced he would be going on a solo world tour, SUGA | Agust D D-DAY, which begins in April and will officially make him the first member of the group to embark on a solo tour.
To accompany the tour, it was also announced that he would be releasing a new album, D-DAY, which will conclude his Agust D trilogy.
With all of the excitement, Weverse and Disney+ announced that Suga would be the star of a new documentary, SUGA: Road to D-DAY.
Just hours ago, Suga gave ARMYs more insight into what the documentary will cover, which has left fans more excited for its release on April 21.
It contains the story of preparing my first solo album, and my journey to find my dream once again and the various stories of me encountering during the time.

Disney+ also released a statement giving more information about what the emotional documentary will tackle,

Throughout the documentary, viewers will see the star at his most vulnerable, as he discusses his writer’s block with other musicians, and delves deep into his most traumatic memories to pen lyrics for several of his latest songs.
After learning more about the upcoming documentary, ARMYs shared their reactions to the deep topics it will cover, and many are already prepared to shed tears.
