EPEX will now be promoting as a seven–member group following the departure of member Keum Donghyun. On November 21, C9 Entertainment announced an official update regarding the group’s future activities. In the statement, the company confirmed that Donghyun’s exclusive contract has concluded, and he will no longer be participating in EPEX’s group activities.
“Our exclusive contract with KEUM DONGHYUN has been concluded. We express our gratitude to KEUM DONGHYUN for his hard work as a member of EPEX, and we would like to ask for your continued support for his future activities. EPEX will continue their activities as a seven-member group with WISH, MU, A-MIN, BAEKSEUNG, AYDEN, YEWANG, and JEFF. We sincerely thank all the fans for their love and support for EPEZ, and ask for your continued interest and love for their future activities.”
Donghyun was one of the original members of EPEX since their debut in 2021 and played an important role in the group’s formation and early success. His departure marks the first official lineup change for EPEX since debut, making it an emotional moment for many fans.
