Famous Korean Actor Admits To Going To Adult Establishment
Musical actor Kim Jun Young, who was recently accused of visiting an adult entertainment establishment, has issued a handwritten apology along with an admission of his fault. He revealed that he had indeed visited such a place, despite his earlier denials.
On November 7, Kim shared a statement on his personal social media.
“I sincerely apologize for disappointing and hurting so many people because of my past personal actions. Regardless of whether what I did was illegal, my behavior was inappropriate and stemmed from a lack of awareness on my part. It was entirely my fault, with no excuse, and I take full responsibility.
My contract with my agency has been terminated, and I have stepped down from all projects I was working on. However, I know well that doing so cannot erase the pain and disappointment I have caused. I believe this is not the end but the beginning of taking responsibility, and I will live my life reflecting and repenting, never forgetting this moment.
I also deeply apologize for the delay in issuing this apology. Out of fear, shame, and concern that I might cause further harm or disappointment, I hesitated and rewrote this statement many times, which caused a delay. That too was my own shortcoming and mistake. I am truly sorry once again.”
Kim also apologized to all the staff and productions that were affected. He previously stepped down from all his upcoming and ongoing work, and terminated his contract with his agency as well.
“I would also like to bow my head in apology to the production companies, my agency, colleagues, fellow actors, and staff members who were affected by my actions. I am deeply sorry. To the audience and fans who have always supported me despite my shortcomings, I am also very sorry for the hurt and disappointment I’ve caused. You have shown me more love and attention than I deserved, and yet I failed to live up to it and instead caused pain through my wrongful behavior. Through this incident, I have realized how complacent and careless I have been, and I am reflecting deeply on my attitude and actions. I will never forget this shame and will continue to reflect and discipline myself to live with greater integrity.
Once again, I am truly sorry.”
