A fourth-gen female idol is going viral for her hilarious takedown of a “delulu” fan’s request.
The idol in question is ITZY‘s Ryujin.
While Ryujin was recently interacting with fans through a popular fan communication platform, she received a long “confession” from a fan, asking her repeatedly to go out on a date. The idol responded directly, writing, “Who are you? Do I leave this chat?”

This interaction quickly went viral on X (formerly, Twitter), where international fans expressed their delight at Ryujin’s unhesitant rejection.

However, Korean fans chimed in to offer a better context of this interaction. The message sent by the fan, as well as Ryujin’s response, were part of a currently popular meme in the country. Some were actually displeased that international fans were bashing the person who sent the “confession,” complaining that people should take an effort to learn Korean memes if they are fans of a Korean artist.
