Fifth-Gen Idol Left Shaking In Fear On Stage, Fans Outraged
NMIXX’s Sullyoon recently left fans heartbroken while trying to put a brave face on during a performance that left her shaking in fear.
The group recently kicked off their ZERO FRONTIER world tour with a show in Incheon, South Korea. The first concert received an explosive response from fans, who praised all the members for their dynamic stage presence and live singing.
However, Sullyoon particularly received attention for her bravery during the show. A viral post on X(former Twitter) recently showed the idol on video, trying to hide her hands shaking intensely out of fear during a performance. It turns out, at one point during the set, Sullyoon was standing on a high platform despite her fear of heights, and hence her body was visibly trembling while she tried to smile through it all.

Fans were left upset and outraged seeing Sullyoon in this state. Many were questioning why the stage setup had to be such, and why her phobia was not taken into account while designing it.

Sullyoon later addressed the viral video clip, explaining that it was her decision to go forward with the high platform idea despite her acrophobia. In a series of messages to fans, the idol reassured them that the lift was actually very safe, adding that the staff members even asked her during rehearsals if her platform should be lowered. However, she denied it as she felt it would hinder the atmosphere on stage.
