Figure Skater Cha Jun Hwan Reveals His Strict Diet
Cha Jun Hwan recently became a hot topic again after he competed spectacularly in the 2025 Harbin Winter Asian Games. The Games are known as an taster and important start for the 2026 Winter Olympics. His Gold Medal put him in the spotlight once more.
He appeared on You Quiz where he revealed the diet he underwent in order to shine as an athlete. For breakfast, he would have a little bit of meat for protein.

For lunch, he would have lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and the like.

For dinner, it was a meal focused on protein.

It was important for him to stick to this schedule as he needed to stay competitive.
I’m on the taller side amongst the male athletes. So since we have to turn and jump around, it’s a sport where you’ll benefit if you’re small and slim. For me, I’m the more muscular type too, because that’s how you can withstand [the sport.]
