Netizens Praise First-Generation Idol’s Concern For NewJeans Amid HYBE and ADOR Feud
On April 25, KST, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin held an emergency press conference to address the ongoing feud between her and her label’s parent company, HYBE. She addressed the control of NewJeans, accusations of plagiarism, and more.
Regarding some of the allegations made at the press conference, HYBE responded that they felt that Min was using NewJeans as “leverage.”
In fact, it is CEO Min who is threatening the company by holding the artist hostage. If the compensation plan is accepted, it’s good. But if it’s not accepted, she would try to use it as an excuse to end the relationship.

Most recently, HYBE clarified concerns about the same release date for BTS’s RM and NewJeans’ comebacks. They confirmed that “album release dates are autonomously decided by each label. The date was finalized after receiving CEO Min Hee Jin’s approval.”
