On January 11, KST, the singer reactivated her Instagram and made a lengthy post explaining her situation. She started by apologizing to fans for the cancellation of her upcoming fan meeting on January 23. Mina wrote, “I’m sorry for disappointing you… I’m also sorry for causing you worry… I’m not yet fully recovered physically or mentally, but I’m putting all my effort into focusing on getting better…” She promised that refunds were being processed and stated that she would hold a fan meeting again if she could get back on her feet in the future.

Mina also addressed her own behavior on social media, promising to refrain from posting her emotional outbursts or other kinds of extreme posts on her profile. Touching upon the topic of legal action against malicious commenters, the singer confessed that she didn’t have the “mental strength or energy” to do that currently, but hinted at possible action later if the hate comments became too much to handle. The singer directly addressed those leaving malicious comments, asking them to stop paying attention to her if they hated her that much.

Fans have expressed their support for Mina, urging her to prioritize her health over everything else. The singer had previously left her well-wishers terrified after she attempted to commit suicide, but was fortunately rescued.
