Former YG Entertainment Boy Group Member Receives Death Threat After Mentioning 2NE1’s Park Bom
Song Baek Kyung, a former member of the YG Entertainment boy group 1TYM, recently received threatening messages after mentioning 2NE1 member Park Bom in a social media post.

On December 13, KST, Song posted a story on Instagram, addressing those who have been sending him death threats, clarifying that he had no ill intentions toward Park Bom. “These foreigners keep sending me the same f*cking messages, saying stuff like ‘I’m gonna shoot you with a gun’ or ‘Watch your back’… Is this LA or São Paulo?” he wrote, adding, “Turns out some of her fans are global assholes. Stop sending them, you bastards. I don’t hate Bom. I always hope Bom stays healthy and happy. But if you keep sending me DMs saying ‘I’m gonna kill you,’ Bom could face even bigger trouble.”

He continued, “This is your last warning,” and hinted at revealing unsavory secrets that could rattle those fans.
The issue began with Song mentioning Park Bom in another Instagram story on December 12, addressing her lawsuit against YGE’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk. In the post, he criticized YGE’s payout structure for 1TYM, while also pointing out the absurd amount Park Bom had mentioned in her lawsuit document.
Up through 1TYM’s fifth album, the signing fee was just 5 million won. Even 50 million won would’ve been questionable, so when they tried to push a deal at 5 million won and have us simply go along with it, that was when I realized this company was fundamentally shady, and I refused.

He continued, referring to Park Bom’s lawsuit, stating, “I don’t know what this 64272e trillion won is supposed to mean, but if there’s money you didn’t receive, calmly calculate it and file a claim again. Get a grip, Park Bom.”

The former idol concluded with a charged expression of his anger towards YGE, hinting at the treatment he had received at the label, saying, “I am no longer the Song Baek Kyung you used to mistreat and look down on. If you mistreat me, I can respond even more harshly.”
Song Baek Kyung debuted under YGE as a member of 1TYM in 1998 and remained active even after the group stopped promoting. He mainly worked as a producer, even though he was not contractually tied to the agency after 2005.
