Ever since her debut as an idol, and even in her substantial career as an actress, Seohyun has been in the spotlight for her enviable visual appeal. Apart from her facial features, Seohyun’s tall and slender figure has always been an eye-catcher.

On May 2, KST, Seohyun appeared as a guest on Hyeri‘s popular YouTube show, Hyell’s Club, and talked about the actual reason behind her unchanging body. During the segment where Hyeri asks some random fun questions to the guest, she brought up Seohyun’s infamous yam juice diet. She laughed it off, saying, “That was ages ago.”

Seohyun then revealed that she has stopped following those extreme diets, adding that she later discovered that root vegetables were not well-suited for her body. “I ate them thinking they were healthy, but they didn’t suit me,” she remarked, making Hyeri break into a chuckle.

The idol-actress then explained that she had “a really picky body type,” adding that all kinds of meats were incompatible with her system. In fact, Seohyun stated that “almost all other foods” except sushi made with white rice and fish were unsuitable for her body.

With such limited and healthy options, Seohyun’s eating habits have naturally allowed her body to stay slim. When Hyeri brought up how she quit traditional medicine after being told to stop eating spicy food, Seohyun quipped, “You’ve got to live happily. How long are you planning to live?” But then she added with a cheeky grin, “Though I do want to live a long life.”
