“The Glory” Actress Lim Ji Yeon’s High School Graduation Photo Goes Viral
The Glory actress Lim Ji Yeon‘s High School photo is going viral.
Netflix‘s The Glory is undoubtedly one of the most well-received dramas in a year that boasted a slew of K-Drama hits such as Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Reborn Rich, and Alchemy Of Souls.
The drama, which features an awesome cast of stars such as Song Hye Kyo, Lim Ji Yeon, and Jung Ji So, captivated K-Drama lovers all around the world. Although all of the actors were praised for their acting, many fans felt Lim Ji Yeon’s portrayal of a High School bully was especially noteworthy.
Lim Ji Yeon played the role of Park Yeon Jin, the main antagonist in The Glory. Lim Ji Yeon’s character is portrayed as the main villain who terrorized Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo) during their High School years and is now the target of Moon Dong Eun’s quest for revenge.
Amid her new-found spotlight, Lim Ji Yeon’s actual High School photos were released. The photos quickly went viral due to netizens’ curiosity to see what Lim Ji Yeon was really like as a student.
In the picture, Lim Ji Yeon’s K-Drama-worthy visuals are still very much present, although she seems more innocent than her character in The Glory.
Also, according to a news report, Lim Ji Yeon’s classmates remember her as a “Lively student who was pro-active, even hosting talent shows and other school events,” which is a stark contrast to her character’s portrayal in the drama.
The pictures and her classmate’s kind words serve as testaments to the actor’s incredible transformation in the drama. Previously, Lim Ji Yeon spoke about how concerned she was while preparing for the role due to the fact that her character was so different from her in real life.
