During his interview with Vogue Korea, V explained that meeting the BTS members was his “lucky break.” He said the members became close very quickly because they got their start with a “small agency,” and he said he thought of his group as his “new family.”

Shortly after his debut, V had another lucky break when he met ARMY! V told the interviewer, “I want to be close friends with the members of ARMY, and I talk to them on Weverse whenever I have a problem or something I want to share.”

V loves communicating openly and honestly with ARMY, and he said this is how he wants to communicate with fans all the time.

Although fans love V’s open communication with them, he realizes that some people may think he should take a more business-like approach to his communication with fans and to his life as an idol in general.

I don’t like a businesslike approach to anything. I take photos because I like to, I do things because I like them and I approach people because I like them. I accept that you sometimes need a business mindset, but I’m not very good at that. That’s my weakness.

While V may believe his lack of a business mindset is a weakness, we definitely think it’s a strength! His genuine personality shines through in everything he does, which makes it easy for fans all over the world to feel connected to him. We stan a genuine king!
