Many have shared anger towards seeing young idols getting them done, not only due to the impact on the original teeth but also the poor aesthetic look it has, especially right after getting them.

In particular, multiple members of ILLIT sparked criticism after seemingly getting them done, despite being so young.

Amid the group, netizens were already aware of member James, who was part of BIGHIT’s past pre-debut group Trainee A, which disbanded in December 2022.

Recently, the group released an introduction video in Japanese.

Netizens noticed that James teeth looked different from the past, and that they almost seemed uncomfortable for the idol to speak.

Netizens quickly shared thoughts that James had gotten veneers, and added their anger and sadness about how he looked perfectly fine without them. Many also added that it seemed to be a “HYBE” thing as many idols from the company have gotten work done on their teeth.
