On January 22, 2026 (KST), during idntt’s live broadcast performance, a section of the stage floor beneath the members suddenly sank.

The malfunction occurred while the group was performing their new song, “Pretty Boy Swag.” Videos capturing the moment highlighted just how dangerous the situation could have been, with the potential for serious injuries had a member’s foot slipped through or someone fallen.

In response, production staff immediately halted the performance. During the delay, M Countdown replaced some scheduled stages with the artists’ music videos and pre-recorded performances. After repairs were completed and safety was confirmed, idntt returned to the stage and resumed the performance.

Mnet later explained that the LED panels installed in the stage floor shifted out of alignment, creating a gap that exposed the area beneath the stage.

During the live broadcast of M Countdown, we confirmed that the LED panels on the stage floor had become misaligned. Prioritizing the artists’ safety, we immediately halted the performance and conducted an emergency inspection.

We promptly completed repairs to the stage, and after consulting with the artists and confirming safety, the broadcast—including the re-performance—continued as normal. We sincerely apologize to the artists, fans at the venue, and viewers for causing concern.

We will take extra care moving forward to ensure a safe production environment through more thorough pre-inspections.

Following the channel’s statement, idntt’s agency also reassured fans. A representative stated, “Fortunately, none of the members were injured and everyone is in good condition. After the stage was secured, the members were able to resume the performance right away.”

Although the situation ended without major injuries, fans across online communities and social media remain shaken.
