Idol-Turned-Actress Hits Back At Rumors Claiming She Got Rich Through Her Risqué Videos
A former idol group member-turned-actress has slammed the rumors about her becoming a multimillion-dollar homeowner thanks to her “revealing outfits.”
The actress in question is Lee Hae In, a former member of the girl group GANGKIZ.

Lee recently appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel One Mic as a guest, where she was asked about her two-story home in Gimpo and the process of becoming the owner of a property worth ₩4.00 billion KRW (about $2.71 million USD). She responded, revealing that she started investing in real estate in her early twenties and owned a single property that she had a hard time selling. However, the property’s value suddenly spiked and gave her a head start in more investments.
Lee then made it clear that her YouTube videos, where she plays the piano while wearing revealing outfits, had no connection to her wealth as a real estate owner. She said, “There are so many misunderstandings. I really wish people wouldn’t write articles claiming I became a building owner with money earned from playing the piano in underwear. It’s so unfair,” adding that she has never made money from the videos because they couldn’t be monetized due to copyright issues. “Real estate saved me,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, Lee Hae In debuted in 2005 as a model and then went on to become a member of GANGKIZ. She has also worked in K-Dramas such as H.I.T, Golden Fish, Vampire Idol, and Witch’s Castle.
