Idol-Turned-Actress Puts Co-Star On Blast For “Rotten” Breath

Former S.E.S. member and actress Eugene recently talked about working with a co-star who had foul breath.

Eugene shared the story in a recent YouTube video on her channel, in which she and her husband, Ki Tae Young, were playing a balance game while enjoying some tteokbokki.

The couple was asked to choose between two kinds of co-stars: “an actor whose breath smells like a sewer, VS an actor who keeps forgetting their lines.” Ki Tae Young chose the latter, saying he is usually accommodating of actors who forget lines when they are nervous, but doing it constantly puts him on edge.

Eugene, however, chose the opposite, saying, “Even so, it’s better than someone with breath that smells like a sewer.” The production team then suggested it would be better to have an actor with bad breath since one could just hold their breath and finish the shoot quickly. However, Eugene retorted, “How can you hold your breath? You have to talk to your co-star. How can you answer without breathing?”

The actress then proceeded to share her personal experience relating to this situation, revealing that she once worked with a female actress who had a very severe case of foul breath.

It wasn’t a male co-star, but an actress. The smell of rotten cigarettes was overwhelming. Seriously.

This candid confession left many viewers shocked, with some even being inspired to figure out which co-star she could possibly be talking about.
