More Information About ASTRO Cha Eun Woo And His Mother’s “Paper Company” Revealed

It was recently reported that the management company operated by ASTRO Cha Eunwoo’s mother, identified as Ms. Choi, does exist, but its registered address was in Gimpo, not Ganghwa as previously alleged.

Previously, Cha Eunwoo’s side stated that his mother had registered the company as a registered popular culture and arts management agency.

“Cha Eunwoo’s mother established a company and began directly operating a management business. It is not a paper company without substance, but a properly registered popular culture and arts management agency.”

However, a check of the Popular Culture and Arts Integrated Information System on January 23 showed that the management company established by Cha Eunwoo’s mother was registered on June 15, 2022. The listed address was neither Ganghwa nor Seoul’s Gangnam district, but Gimpo. It was recorded as a seven-story above-ground, two-story underground building located in Tongjin-eup, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi Province.

Contrary to claims circulating in online communities that linked the address to an eel restaurant, the registered address was in Gimpo under a different company name. While the address may have changed after initially being registered in Gimpo, it does not appear to have been updated. If an address changes, it is required to be amended in the Popular Culture and Arts Integrated Information System, but no such change was reflected.

Regarding the Ganghwa eel restaurant and the Gimpo-based management company, Cha Eunwoo’s agency Fantagio stated that it was “unable to confirm” the details.
